Firefly is a theatrical coming-of-age tale of loss, grief and forgiveness. The show weaves together Sally’s songs, movement, AV, autobiographical stories and spoken word.
Firefly was performed in the 2017 Auckland Arts Festival RAW series, and supported by Creative New Zealand.
Sally’s brother, Ben, was a musician, sound engineer and producer. Firefly is a collage of accounts growing up with Ben, his battle with addiction and recovery, and unexpected drug overdose.
